Download Manager is a web-based server application that delivers files and data to user's PDA and cell phone. This application also includes a web-based management system for EthIR LAN systems and contents for download. All in all, Download Manager, together with ESB301/3011b, provides out-of-box OBEX content delivery solution for end users.

This SDK uses advanced COM technology for easier scripting for web based development. This technology allows developers to utilize switch's OBEX functionality with languages such as CGI, ASP, VB Script, etc. Application developed using scripting language are flexible and easier to update and maintain. Without RADIUS, anyone with a PDA can connect to network through EthIR LAN without user name and password. With more and more concerns about not letting just any PDA accessing the network, EthIR LAN has the option to support RADIUS so that PDA user will need to have the correct user name and password in order to access the network. In this case, EthIR LAN acts as a Network Access Server between the PDA and an Authentication server. EthIR LAN passes the user name and password from the PDA to the Authentication Server for verfication and grant network access if user name and password are verified.

ClarinetIR™ is a freeware application, which provides network connectivity via infrared (IR) without the hassle and confusion of setting up and/or launching a dial-up network. With few simple clicks, the application can be installed onto your computer(s) and/or device(s) with ease. The uninstall feature also makes removal of application as simple as one, two, and three. This application supports Windows laptops, PocketPC devices and Palm devices.

This application can easily used with Palm HotSync, AvantGo Sync on both PocketPC and Palm, ActiveSync for PocketPC, web surfing and file transfer for Windows laptop, and any type of network based application.

Configuration Tool is a software utility used to view and modify any system configuration changes.  Windows tool also have the option to update switch's firmware and security setting.
