Providing a fast time to market and data transfer,
twice as fast as any TCP/IP connection and ten times faster than
any cellular connection, the InfoPort is the ultimate in providing
user specified information at high bandwidth to Palm handheld devices.
The InfoPort supports the complete Palm Computing OS product line
and consists of a user programmable Hub, an Infrared beam, power
supply, the "InfoSoft" desk top software utility and a Palm based
software tracking program on CDROM.
The InfoPort is quick and easy to deploy, simply connect the InfoPort to your PC via standard Ethernet and install the InfoSoft software. Developers can program .prc files from up to 100 8.5 x 11 pages onto the InfoPort.

The user simply points their Palm device towards the InfoPort's
Infrared beam, and in seconds receives the desired information or
application on their Palm OS device. For companies who's goals are
to provide their customers with information on the go without having
to print stacks of collateral, the InfoPort streamlines the process
by delivering real time information and applications to the user
