CLARINET SYSTEMS AND IS/COMPLETE ENTER IN TO A STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

Santa Clara, CA, December 12-- Clarinet Systems, Inc. (Milpitas, CA) a global provider of wireless connectivity for handheld devices, and IS/Complete, Inc. Green Brook, NJ, a leading software development company have entered into a strategic alliance to market turnkey solutions utilizing each others technology.

The first such solution developed by IS/Complete on Clarinet Systems platform will be WebBeamCast which will be launched at the PalmSource 2000 conference at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The AccessPort, targeted for introduction in Q1 2001 is the platform of choice for the hospitality, kiosk and hotel ISP market to provide Internet access for Palm handheld devices as well as push data to these devices from a central server. The alliance will serve to promote cost-effective, wireless network access solutions using infrared technology. IS/Complete and Clarinet Systems will work together to advance the use of high-speed, network connectivity for Palm Handheld organizers.

To achieve this, the two companies will incorporate IS/Completes years of experience in building custom software applications for the Palm OS and Clarinet Systems innovative solutions for connecting Palm handhelds to LAN networks using the Palm handhelds built-in infrared capabilities. The Clarinet Systems, IS/Complete partnership has also proven to be a winner before, earlier this year in July they teamed-up to work with the U.S. Navy to ensure a wireless network system aboard the USS McFaul.

The Navy installed 32 Clarinet Systems infrared ports, scattered strategically around the ship to give sailors with Palm handheld device, access to their email while I/S Complete contributed their "Restrictor" Software which provides a COTS solution that allows Navy system administrators great flexibility in the level of security.
