(San Jose, CA) have joined forces to promote network server synchronization for Fortune 1000 corporations. Puma’s Intellisync Anywhere™ synchronization software works seamlessly with Clarinet Systems’ EthIR LAN/WAN wireless network access system.

EthIR LAN/WAN links Palm Computing platform and WindowsCE devices to the corporate network and Internet via infrared (IR) technology. With Intellisync Anywhere, users of infrared-enabled, Palm Computing platform-compatible devices can realize anytime, anywhere global connectivity for accessing Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino-based email and personal information management (PIM) data.

As these small form factor communications devices proliferate in the corporate enterprise, set up and maintenance of the middleware responsible for information exchange and synchronization must be easy and cost-effective.
